I had a dream
There is no surprise to anyone who knows or follows me that I like fluff! This is actually an understatement! I am obsessed with fluff! And most of my designs incorporate mohair - usually double stranded with another yarn. Yarn used in the sample was gifted to me by a very special lady, who is truly an inspiration to us all. She opened a beautiful yarn store in her 80’s, proving that age is just a number and it’s never too late to achieve your dreams! You can call it a scarf or a small shawl and it has a simple boomerang construction. As in life we see risings (increases in the construction) and more often than we like to admit, some falls (decreases).
Special stitch 2#2 - I didnt see this stitch before so i claim it until i find it somewhere else!
Pattern was designed for a laceweight mohair on its own, but a few samples were worked in different yarn weights - they all looked great and different at the same time:
Suggestions for other yarns :
4 ply - minimum 400m, used 4.5mm needle
4 ply + mohair - minimum 350m of each, use 6 or 6.5mm needles if your knitting style is firm
