This baby blanket pattern was designed with love in mind and it is sure to melt the “heart” of any baby or mom you give it to! It is made using Caron Simply Soft yarn which is a “No Dye Lot” soft, versatile yarn available in over 50 different colors. (Colors pictured are: “Watermelon”, “Lavender Blue”, “Limelight”, and “Lemonade”.) Obviously you can select any colors you’d like for this pattern or tone it down by using pastels. It would also look great in more traditional “boy” colors. The possibilities are endless!

This baby blanket is larger than most, measuring approximately 44 x 49 inches. The size can be adjusted either up or down by following the same pattern with either larger or smaller needles. Additionally, while I chose to join 20 squares together (4x5) you could elect to do only 12 (3x4) if you prefer a smaller baby blanket. This blanket is sure to be a keepsake for the special child in your life for many years to come!

Skill level for this pattern is: Easy. If you are able to cast on, knit, purl, bind off, and join squares together you will have an easy (and fun!) time completing this project!

This pattern includes:
-A supply list
-Gauge information
-Line-by-line instructions for completing each of the 4 heart squares
-Photos demonstrating joining of squares

All of my patterns are written in American English, using standard US knitting and crochet terms.

I know what you’re thinking--“Can I make a bunch of these baby blankets and sell them at a craft fair or online?” You certainly can! (In fact, I would be flattered if you did!) I simply ask that you please provide your customers with my pattern store name (NoCoKnitWitDesigns) if they are interested in the pattern and utilize your own photos if selling online. Additionally, please do not copy this pattern for redistribution or sale, or display it publicly in any way. I worked really, really hard on it!
