I Heart Cables
This pattern was initially published in Petite Purls in 2012. It was revised with new sizes, instructions, charts, photography and tech-editing in Nov/Dec 2022.
There are two PDF files with the instructions: for kids and for adults. Make sure to use the correct one for proper fit :)
I love cables. In fact, I’ve always loved them - simple ones, intricate ones, absolutely all of them. When I was a teenager, I learned how to knit them but only one simple type which always turning in the same direction. So I hid my love for cables deep down in my heart for many years.
But this winter everything has changed. I’m no longer a teen struggling to make something nice, now I’m a mom who needs some warm and quick knits to keep my happy toddler cozy. And that’s how my love for cables came back to me, this time with great impact and a lovely hat for kids.
