I Heart Palestine
This is a small motif based on the Palestinian flag. Knit it to show Palestinian pride or solidarity with the people of Palestine and the Palestinian diaspora. Use it as a badge, a bag or hat patch, a car or wall decoration. Make a huge one and wear it as a shawl or wave it as a flag. This pattern will always be free, and donations to Palestinian mutual aid causes are encouraged.
Gauge is not important, and this can be knit in any weight yarn on suitable needles. Instructions are given for three sizes as well as modifications to knit larger sizes (see page 6).
This pattern has not been tested, and feedback is welcome (especially for the sizing up instructions). The design was inspired by the crochet pattern Free Palestine Flag by Alicia G and uses a modified version of Yarn Bomb Heart by Leslie Roth.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
