Everyone has seen the yummy cake yarn that has become so popular in the fiber arts world. Brands like Caron, Lionbrand and Bernat along with many more have come out with beautiful color ways and all in one wonderful skein but those of us who have had the pleasure of using this yarn know how frustrating it can be to chase it around while working with it and traditional bowls and threaders are just not wide enough. So I am introducing an easy fast project to help tame those runaway cakes so that you can work easily and happily with this beautiful yarn.

Materials you will need
75-125 yds blanket yarn or 6 super bulky and 15-20 yds of secondary color
7mm hook
1 medium- large size button
Yarn needle
