I Love Canterbury Beret/Tam
This beret/tam comprises different motifs but includes hearts and my version of the Canterbury Cross - hence the name.
This is a beret created by using stranded knitting in the round.
You will need 2mm & 3mm circular needles - both 40cms long and 3mm dpns or dpns through out.
The yardage given is dependent on how many colours you use. If you knit a two-colour beret you will need 1 and a half of the main colour and one ball of the contrast. If you use 3 contrast colours you will obviously need a ball of each.
It is blocked over a 10” plate but you could block it slightly larger if desired.
If you choose to use corrugated rib, the rib will not be as stretchy as a 1x1 or even 2x2 rib.
I don’t think there are any mistakes as it has been knitted by several friends but please let me know if you find any.
