This knitting pattern is for my “I Love Mom and Dad” baby blanket. The blanket is very cozy and comfy. It is knitted in three patterns - Duck, Sun and “I Love Mom and Dad” phrase. I made it in bright yellow color but actual color and type of yarn can be varied.

My knitting pattern is easy to follow and suitable for beginners. So you can knit it for both boy and girl. Depending on yarn type either you can make a summer/autumn blanket or even a warm winter one.

The pattern contains six pages of layout chart, diagrams, written row-by-row instructions and pictures.

The blanket has a perfect size for pram or cot use.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS (one size):
Size after blocking: 30 inches (approx. 76 cm) x 34 inches (approx. 86 cm)

TOOLS & MATERIALS:
-9 x 50 g of 4 ply yarn in yellow 100% Mercerized cotton or yarn to obtain the gauge
-Circular needle size US 3 (3.25 mm)

GAUGE:
28 stitches and 38 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch using needle size US 3 (3.25 mm)
