YARN CONSUMPTION ca 85-95 g/ 2.8-3.35 oz (you need a little bit less than 1 skein light colour and a little bit more than 1 skein dark colour). The sample hat weights 85g /ca 3 oz
NEEDLES AND OTHER TOOLS 16´ (40 cm) circular needles or DPNs (double pointed needles) in US 2.5/ 3,0 mm. If you are slouchy knitter take US 2/ 2,75 mm needles, scissors, stitch marker
SKILL LEVEL Advanced Beginner /Intermediate
SIZE The hat is an average adult size to fit head circ. 55-60 cm (21-23.5´´). If you want smaller/ larger size-use thinner/thicker yarn or use smaller/larger needles. If you want a longer hat, repeat ribbing part more times.
GAUGE 26 sts x 32 rows = 4´´ (10 cm). Make sure to obtain correct gauge, adjust needle size if needed. Total 152 sts (ribbing) and 156 sts (body part)
