I designed this mitten with a side 

afterthought thumb. The waste yarn
for the thumb is placed between the
front and back of the mitten… voila,
easy side thumbs!
This design is an easy symmetrical
pattern to follow. Place even amount
of stitches on 4 needles and the pattern
repeats itself nicely.
