addi came up with a great way for knitters to show off their skills with the DIY Knit-cessories necklace. Here is my interpretation of how to show off your knitting skills and love of knitting at the same time.

The beads at the bottom are added as part of the cast on and the beads in the body are added to the stitch as it is knit. The crossed stitches as simple to do. Stitches with multiple wraps are crossed on the next row by passing 2 stitches through the second 2; then they are moved back to the left needle and all 4 stitches are knit in the new order.

Finger yarn works best, but a lace weight will give it an airy-ier feel.
