I LOVE you DOG is a crescent shaped shawl worked from the top down. This shawl is suitable for any weight yarn and has been tested using worsted, 3-ply, 4-ply/fingering and lace.

Gauge is not essential for this design and the gauge provided is a guideline only based on a heavy worsted weight yarn. However, should your own gauge be different bear in mind this will affect the finished size.

This is my first published design and all profits are to be equally divided between two charities. Wales & West of England Pug Dog Rescue and Rape Crisis UK.

I designed the shawl from my office at home. I was inspired by the view of my garden, the wet dog paw prints on the patio and at the top of the garden the wild growing Ox-eye daisies.

The pattern will suit beginners to shawl making as all the techniques are simple but it’s interesting enough to keep the more advanced knitter occupied.
