I Love You in Braille
When I was small I watched a gentleman reading from a Braille book and I found it utterly fascinating! When I looked closely I thought it a true marvel that with a series of bumps that to my eye looked so similar could spell out the letters and words that made my love of reading possible. It pleased me to know that my love of reading was not restricted to those who have their sight.
Crochet is also a marvel to me. That with yarn and a hook all sorts of outcomes are possible! I found the creation of bumps in crochet very interesting as I love texture and with a little exercise of the little grey cells this pattern emerged.
A message to someone you love with a little bit of intrigue or perhaps for that person you know who has limited or no vision but you would love to give something special to. We get so much joy with our knitting and crochet projects, so this textural number was created for those who benefit more from touch!
There is a US terminology version as well as a UK/AU version for download (because let’s face it… who likes to accidentally use the wrong stitch!)
