Happy Valentine’s Day!

This headband is designed from Venetian and Bruges Lace crochet techniques.

The rose is optional and made in the Irish crochet technique. It can be attached with a piece of ribbon, by a button sewn onto the headband, or by sewing the rose directly onto the headband. Note that the first two methods allow the rose to be detachable.

The headband can very well be made using a thinner thread and a bit larger steel hook, but size 10 thread is the most accessible size.

The heart measures about 2.5” long from one of the top picots to the bottom tip. The strap is about 3/8” wide. The length of the strap varies with each person.
