I designed this blanket as a tribute to all you talented makers (yes, I’m talking to you!).
I wanted to give you a way to be able to stand up and proudly say “I MADE THIS”!
SKILL LEVEL
The blanket is made from a combination of hdc and bobble stitches so is a great project for a beginner with some experience. You will need to be able to read the chart to ensure the correct placement of the bobbles.
STITCHES USED
Half double crochet, bobble stitch and foundation half double crochet
Descriptions of the Foundation Half Double Crochet is given in the pattern along with a modification for those who prefer to work directly into a foundation chain.
MATERIALS
6mm / I hook, 5.5mm hook for border
~2300yds, 1250g Worsted Medium Weight yarn,
The piece pictured used 9 Skeins of Lion Brand Heartland in Denali
This blanket can be made in any yarn with hook to suit - the size of the final blanket will reflect different yarn weights.

The blanket is one size measuring approx 170x100cm / 68in x 40in in the example materials stated
