I Open at the Close
As part of a charity challenge I have set myself, all profits from the sale of this pattern will be donated to charity - see Facebook @mrshookyandthistleknits for more information.
My snitch socks were inspired by Professor Dumbledore’s legacy to Harry and are knitted using general sock making techniques with a ribbed cuff and short row heel. Designed to be knitted two at a time cuff down or toe up (TAAT), this sock can easily be adapted to knitting one at a time on dpns, small circular or by magic loop.
The pattern is a relatively simple lace pattern although it requires a little concentration. It is advisable to read the whole pattern through before starting knitting.
I plan a pair in gold with red cuffs, heels and toes for the Gryffindor Quidditch team at some future date. If you decide to knit them, please remember to link to the pattern.
