I won’t lie, I want to be a quilter, my sewing machine just disagrees!! I created this pattern to utilize all the mini skeins in the TRILOGY YARNS 2020 ADVENT CALENDAR along with the 100g skein as an optional border. It’s fun to take the little squares with you, especially nice during the summer when you want a small project. When all 48 squares are knit, just seam them together and you have a light-weight but cozy lap blanket that is full of memories!!

The photos are currently black & white. Once the pattern has been released to those who purchased the pattern, we will turn the photos COLORFUL!!!!

Materials Needed:

24 -20g / 80 yard hanks of Fingering Weight Yarn (or 480g total) for the blanket

Optional border uses an extra 100g/400yard hank of yarn

We used Trilogy Yarn Advent Calendar 2020

US3-3.25mm Knitting Needles (if you pick up the edges for the border, you will need a 32” cord)

Tapestry Needle for Weaving in Ends

Gauge: 23 stitches by 14 rows = 4” x 4” square in garter after blocking

Finished Measurement:30” wide by 40” tall
