This pattern is a collaboration of two fiber artists. Laurie Kahn and Janie Laswell. We are each posting our own version of this pattern.The pattern available here is a duplicate of Janie’s in every way except for the stitch count given for each skull. Janie Skips 3 sts , I Skip 4 in between the teeth.
I met Janie on Face Book. I saw pictures of my designs made up in new and innovative ways. We became friends, and this is our first pattern together.

Crib Size 30x 36 1600
Children 42x 48 2000
Lapghan 36x 48 2900
Adult Afghan 48 x 72 3450
Written in American crochet terminology. This pattern can be adapted to all weights of yarn, and blanket sizes. Included in the directions is how to calculate how many stitches you need for the size you would like to make. Pictures of almost every row, the original style pattern and an alternative method for making the creepy skulls conventionally in all in long rows, instead of short rows.
