“I ♥ Snowflakes Mitts” have a matching full mitten pattern “I♥ Snowflakes and Mittens”.

Materials
• US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method); US size 00 (1.75mm) for ribbing (optional)
• Light fingering weight yarn - 231y/50 g (211m/50g): You will need about 231 y/50 g total: Background color – 32 g, Contrast color 18 g.

Gauge: 9 sts x 13 rows (knitting in the round) in 1” x 1” after blocking (this is gauge for recommended yarn and needles)

Notes
1. Sizes: With recommended yarn/needles, the mitts will fit an adult woman’s S/M hand. The size of the mitts can be further adjusted with yarn and needles. My recommendation would be: for S/M light fingering + 2mm needles, for M use fingering + 2.25/2.5 mm needles, for large use sport weight and 2.5/3 mm needles.
2. Options: There are 3 options to choose from with 3 different snowflakes. If you like, you can mix and match these options and have a different snowflake on each mitt.
3. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Catch longer floats using preferred method.
4. Construction: The mitts are knit in the round. The mitts have a side thumb gusset construction (sore thumb). After the increases for the thumb gusset are completed, the thumb stitches are placed on a piece of scrap yarn and the top of the mitts is finished first. Finally, the thumb stitches are picked up and the thumb ribbing is added.

As always, so grateful to my wonderful testers Heli-keiju and bgow for testing and help! ♥♥♥
