This blanket was inspired by my daughter’s former babysitter, whom several years ago, upon learning I was crocheting Potter-themed items for various people, insisted that I make something for her should she ever have a baby. This past summer, I learned that said day was soon to arrive. Immediately, I started writing this pattern and made the prototype for her newborn son.
