For the project you can use any DK weight yarn, preferably same brand.

This shawl has an additional “band” with runes… addition was made by a different designer, Terri Bocklund.

If you wish to add the band with runes, please use her pattern, it includes full pattern of “I Spread My Wings”. The counts of stitches are important for the “runes” band!

You can enlarge pattern by adding more repeats, stitch count will increase…
