I Think I've Broken Something
I first started making this pattern when I needed a quick Christmas gift for the family gift exchange but wasn’t feeling well enough to go shopping or remember anything complicated. The Broken Rib pattern ended up becoming my go-to pattern for last minute gifts.
I love using yarn with a little bit of metallic filament running through it to give it that added sparkle and a bit more elegance. If you want to use a yarn other than the one recommended, then you can purchase metallic thread from the sewing section of a craft store and carry the thread alongside the yarn. Two skeins of each is enough to make one hat and 2 cowls.
There are two sections to this pattern. The first section is the pattern I used to generate the sample using Super Bulky Weight Yarn. The second consists of a recipe for adapting the pattern to any weight yarn or size.
