Iara is a shawlette, shawl or wrap pattern with various size options.
All you need is a plain coloured yarn and a matching, multicoloured yarn.
Keep on going until your desired lenght/ width is achieved or you run out of yarn ( please, save enough for the picot edge)
No ends of the garter ridges need to be weaved in, due to the easy colourwork construction.
Iara is slightly asymetrical and drapes beautifully.
You will need about 2/3 of main coloured yarn and 1/3 of contrasting coloured yarn.
Iara has two different picot edged sides.

The right side of the shawl looks a little more “eccentrically”.
The pattern is a recipe and less difficult as it may apear.
Advanced beginners will enjoy their ‘Iara’- project.
