The black spotted underwings of the tiny Icaricia saepiolus butterfly is the inspiration for this simple eyelet studded cowl. The “greenish blue”, as it is known, is found in southern Alberta, especially along the roadsides where clover has taken hold.

James C. Brett Marble DK 220 m / 100 g (240 yds / 3.5 oz), 2 balls. Colour MT2 Denims (Blues/Yellow). Any currently available DK (#3) yarn with similar yardage may be substituted.
