Notes:

1. This pattern is written with the beginner in mind and requires no special stitch knowledge
2. This pattern is written in English using US terms
3. This blanket is designed to be bulky and warm, is created using 2 strands of worsted weight yarn, and is a cocoon (sleep sack, sleeping bag) style blanket
4. Additional notes and helpful tips are provided within the pattern as well as pictures
5. Numbers in parenthesis at end of rounds are your st counts for the round
6. Gauge: USING RHSS 2 strands a. 8 1/2 sts= 4”; 5 rows= 4”
7. Measures approximately: a. JR (age 3-6; up to 4.5 foot tall): 30” wide X 46” tall b. Big Kid (age 6-12; up to 5.5 foot tall): 35.5” wide X 56.5” tall
8. This blanket has been tested using RHSS, and ILTY, and is currently being tested using 3 strands Caron Simply Soft and using single strand Big Twist Bulky 5; additional notes on these brands as well as colorway will be included in a future update. (Please note, should you decide to use Caron Simply Soft you will need to use 3 strands instead of 2 to reach appropriate gauge)
