For this piece you will want to use 1 or more colors, depending on your taste and you will need anywhere from 200 to 400 grams of fingering weight yarn (800 to 1600 yards). This shawl is knit on Size U.S. 4, 5, or 6 needles, depending on the feel you want for your fabric and how open you want the stitches to be.

Hopefully you will want to use colors from our annual Ice Cream Shoppe special yarn dyeing event. This is event is so very cool, because you get to choose a primary color along with 1 to 3 “toppings” which we will sprinkle on the yarn using our unique speckling techniques.
