Create a unique costume starting with this adorable twist on the classic Halloween motif! Get creative with colors, “sprinkles” and other embellishments. I made a Vanilla and a Mint Chip, but the flavor combos are almost endless! The style of the hat is inspired by a classic ice cream cone shape – the point of the hat is the cone, and the brim is the ice cream! What a unique costume idea – it’s sure to be a hit at trick or treating, parties / virtual parties, etc.!

This pattern uses the single crochet and slip stitch (it would also be helpful to know how to crochet in the round), and calls for super bulky weight yarn as well as a few yards of medium weight yarn.
