This 22 pages pattern contains detailed explanations in English that allow you to make this ice cube headband / pouch by using the crochet technique. There are pictures to guide you along the way. This pattern requires sewing parts together, so you need to be familiar with it.

You can use it to cool down in summer. You can wear it around your head, your neck or your arm. You can also attach it to your belt. If you don’t want it wet, you can wrap the ice cubes in a plastic bag, but it is more effective if it is wet. The pouch is crocheted with single crochet, which make it thick enough to make the ice refreshing without being painful. It is also very absorbent, so no water runs over you while you wear it. If you like, you can also use it as a normal headband or pouch to carry objects.

Level: Intermediate

Stitches used (US terminology) : single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, bobble stitch, slip stitch, chain.

Materials needed:

• DK yarn: black
• DK yarn: orange
• Yarn needle

SIze:

I used DK yarn, and I crochet rather tight. If you want the result to be the same size, I recommend to use light or medium weight yarn. You can also use fine yarn and a smaller hook for the embellishments if you want them to be smaller / finer.
The headband rectangle is 18 cm / 7 inches long, and 10 cm /4 inches wide.
The straps are adjustable to your size.
Gauge : 10 stitches X 10 rounds = 3,5 cm / 1,37 inches (worked over single crochet).
