ice ice beanie
Skill level: Beginner friendly
Needles: 10mm (US15) circular needles
Yarn: 1 skein of Super Bulky Yarn (200g/80m; 7oz/87yds)
Techniques: German twisted cast on, stockinette stitch, decreases, magic loop
2 options included: Long version (pic 1 and 2) and short version (pic 3 and 4)
The ice ice beanie is a seamless knitted beanie, worked from bottom to top in the round in Stockinette stitch. You will find a photo-tutorial for the German twisted cast on plus links to easy-to-follow video-tutorials for every technique used.
The upper part of the beanie lies loosely on the back of the head.
I will show you two versions of the beanie – long and short. You can decide which length you like better.
At the end you work decrease rounds and pull the yarn through the remaining stitches.
It is a super quick knit for a slouchy relaxed hat. Have fun knitting!
