And with that quote in mind, I did go right ahead and make anything I liked!

The results of my work became ‘Ice Queen’. So if you like things that are a little different, quirky, zany and maybe a little odd? If you think you deserve to feel like a Queen? Then this is for you!

Ice Queen Scarf/Cowl has a simple single/double crochet base. Over that base you work Surface Slip Stitch adding the icicles as you go.

I used Bendigo Woollen Mill Luxury in 8ply Dk for th. base and Bendigo Woollen Mill Luxury in 10ply Aran for the surface slip stitch and icicles.

I have firm tension and only had approx 50m left of the base coloured yarn. One of my pattern testers had to purchase a second ball of bwm yarn for this. Please keep this in mind when deciding to work this pattern and check your gauge.

The pattern comes with separate copies for Uk terms and USA terms. It has many photos to help along the way.

This pattern has been tested by a large group with varying abilities in crochet.
