You can use several types of wool yarn. My experience is that both Hifa Trollgarn and Hifa 3 is excellent for this work.

The sice of the mitten will be a little smaller while using Hifa 3, form Hifa Trollgarn. So if you are knitting these mittens for a man, i suggest you use Hifa Trollgarn, and if you are knitting for a woman you should use Hifa 3.
