Choose a yarn with great stitch definition and in a solid colour. Work slightly looser than ball band tension for a soft fabric.

• MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino 100% wool 125m/137yds per 50g ball. 2 balls Forget-me-not or colour of your choice. Storm grey would make a great alternative for a mens cowl. Plum is versatile coloured neutral to choose for a girlfriend or teenager. Allow extra yarn if you wish to increase height of cowl.
• 3.5mm/US 4 circular needles with 60cm/24” cable OR set 5 double-pointed needles
• stitch markers
• tapestry needle to weave in ends

Tension
24 sts to 10cm/4” over stocking stitch (stockinette) using 3.5mm/US 4 needles or size required to achieve tension.
