This hat is crocheted in the round, starting at the band and finishing at the crown (bottom up method). The hat is meant to have a snug fit, so if you’d like to increase the size of the hat based on your own measurements, wrap a measuring tape around your head resting it in the middle of your forehead. This will give you the exact size you’ll need. Use this circumference and the gauge information to adjust the size of the hat.

Please note that you will need a 11.5mm hook (not 10mm as posted in the project specs - Ravelry does not have 11.5mm as an option at this moment).

TECHNIQUES:
Rib Stitch: worked the same as a single crochet stitch, except instead of inserting the hook into both stitches, you only insert the hook into the back loop.

MEASUREMENTS:
Final size measures 21.5” (circumference) x 9” length)
