I have used cotton thread nr 10 to the icecreams and crochet hook nr 1.75 mm.

Size:
Icecream 1: 7.5¨ inch / 19 cm high.
Icecream 2: 6.5¨ inch / 17 cm high.
Icecream 3: 5¨ inch / 13 cm high.

The pattern can be made using any yarn you wish. Adjust your hook size so that your stitches are as tight as possible.
