We traveled to Iceland in 2022 and were inspired to design this cowl.

We used Berroco Mercado because it’s softer than the traditional Icelandic wools, but any heavy worsted yarn will work.

The Provisional Cast on and Grafting are optional. Pattern is written for both options.

Sizing
Finished measurement is ~21” around and 3.5” high

Yarn
Berroco Mercado or any heavy worsted weight yarn that will knit at 3 sts. to 1”

Gauge
3 sts. to 1 inch in pattern

16” Circular- Size 10.5
