Icelandic Poppy Lace Shawl
Poppy buds are beginning to blossom on this Icelandic influenced triangular shawl. Knit from the top down, it ends with a lacy edging and a crocheted chain cast-off.
Increases in the lace naturally shape the top of the triangle to curve around the shoulders. The poppy lace is challenging as it repeats over 18 stitches and 12 rows. After any 12 rows, the edging can be started, making it easy to customize the size.
This shawl looks great in a variety of lace, fingering, and Shetland/sport/DK weight yarns.
Pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
