Ichabod
Simple details dress up this cute and casual seamless cardigan. Narrow garter stitch columns, inspired by the grooves on pumpkins, run down the body and sleeves, and neat garter triangles decorate the pockets of Ichabod. The body is worked from the bottom up, starting with the bottom band. Stitches are added for the pocket linings, which are knit while the other stitches are on hold, and the linings are joined as the rest of the body is knit up with hip and waist shaping. The fronts and back are knit, with the shoulders joined using a three-needle bind-off. Stitches are picked up from the completed armholes, and sleeves are knit from the top down with seamless short-row shaping. Optional elbow patches can be added when the cardigan is finished. For the best fit, choose a size with 2-5 in / 5-13 cm of positive ease through the bust.
