The super cute and simple Icicle Cup Cozy pattern uses spike stitches to create an icicle-like design. Very quick to work up and well suited to beginners, this cup cozy pattern is sure to be a favorite!

This pattern is a companion piece to my Icicle Beanie pattern.

This pattern requires knowledge of chaining, slip stitching, and working in the round, as well as single, half-double, and spike crochet stitches. The pattern includes reference photos and there is a free video pattern if you are confused about anything, especially the spike stitches. You’ll need a 3.5mm crochet hook and about 40 yards of worsted weight yarn (preferably cotton).

This pattern uses US terminology and is written in English.
