Icing on the Cake Cowl
The Icing on the Cake Cowl is a pattern designed using Cake Wool Co. Yarn to celebrate the 2024 CakePalooza October event.
Hope I see you there!
DETAILS
This is a fun and simple bandana shaped cowl knit using a very simple all over cable stitch all that designed is to mimic the texture of icing on a cake. The long main edge trimmed with a waffle like texture in which to contain all of the frothing “icing”. I’ve held a DK weight yarn with mohair but honestly be creative with your yarn choices. There are so many amazing textures and yarn compositions that will all make a wonderful statement. Just be mindful of the gauge. Hope you love knitting this and wearing it too. This is an ideal pattern for a beginner cable knitter.
