Ickle Pickle Knitted Dolly
Ickle Pickle is a very easy to knit doll and my pattern has clear, easy to follow instructions and plenty of step by step photos for added guidance should it be needed.
You will need double knit or equivalent yarn, 100gms cream (or main body colour of your choice) and oddments in other colours shown. A few beads and 2 buttons for decoration, but not if the doll is for a very young child. Also a pair of safety eyes and a small safety nose but, these can easily be replaced with embroidered features if for a small child.
Tension / guage:
Not too important for toys. As a general guide if you find your stitches are tight on the needles then move up a needle size, or, if they are always looser go down a size. Either way, the size of ‘ICKLE PICKLE’ will just vary slightly. Please be aware that you will be using fibre fill and you will achieve a better result if your knitting isn’t too gappy.
Happy knitting
