Takk!

This is a simple cabled hat, which also is ribbed. The hat came about during the summer of 2017 and is the first pattern I’ve ever published.
This is a hat I can see myself going fishing in this winter with my granddad.

I think this pattern is good for advanced beginners because of the techniques. It uses a tubular cast-on and two different cabling methods.

You need at least 2 skeins (100 grams) of Aran weight yarn. If you want to add a pompom you should get another skein.
I used Drops Nepal in the colour 8908.

The gauge is measured unstretched. Just place your swatch on a flat surface and measure the cables without stretching them out.

Errata
It seems I have forgotten to remind you to use the smaller needle for the rib and the larger for the rest of the hat! I’m sorry, but I hope this clears it.
