Icy Flowers Mittens
by Traci Scott
This pattern is
available for free.
Icy Flowers are a snug fitting mitten with a long decorative cuff. There are 5 charts worked in the construction. First you work from the cuff chart, then a corrugated ribbing chart. The hands are made from a chart of the back of the hand, the palm of the hand, and the thumb/gusset chart. The palms and thumbs are a simple checkerboard pattern so once you establish the pattern you usually do not need to look at the chart.
All yarns are Knit Pick Palette 100% wool, fingering weight.
