I'd Rather Be Knooking Hat
Basic top down Knooked hat. Good practice working in the round and top down in Knooking for someone who is just learning to Knook. You ask whats “Knooking”? Well….
Knooking is knitting with a modified crochet hook. It is NOT Tunisian, Slip Stitch, Crochetnit, Double Crochet or any other knit look alike. You will be making actual knit and purl stitches. It may take time and practice but you will make beautiful knitted pieces. This is a quickly growing craft. Perfect for anyone. As a crocheter for 24 years, I always wanted to learn how to knit but a bit clumsy with knitting needles. Knooking is my happy medium. One of the great benefits about knooking is you can combine knit and crochet together with the use of just 1 tool.
With this Knooked Hat pattern is written and pictorial instructions on how to Knook, including Casting on, knit, purl, increases, decreases, cables, knooking in the round, binding off and other useful information Also included is a free small washcloth pattern.
.
You will need a knooking hook to perform stitches in book. If you have questions about hooks just ask.
