5 locking stitch markers, 1 row/round counter, scrap yarn or stitch wire for resting stitches, scissors, measuring tape, cable needle and a darning needle.
Pattern workflow:
Ida is worked from the top down, With a saddle shoulder construction.
First the two saddles are worked flat, then stitches are picked up along the sides of the saddles and stitches are cast on for the back neck, German short rows are worked to shape the shoulders, the back yoke is worked flat until the underarms. The front shoulders are worked separately then joined with cast on stitches. The front is worked flat until the underarm. The body is joined in the round at the underarms with cast on stitches, and worked in the round. The sleeves are picked up along the armholes and worked top down in the round. All trims are finished with a 1X1 rib.
