This is the perfect pattern for a warm weather baby. It’s always a struggle to find something to knit for a spring or summer baby, this is just the thing.

NOTE: The third round of the eyelet part of the cocoon should end with the YO. Otherwise the stitch count is off by two. I’m so sorry about that.
