Ida neck is worked from the top down, With a saddle shoulder construction.
First the two saddles are worked flat, then stitches are picked up along the sides of the saddles and stitches are cast on for the back neck, German short rows are worked to shape the shoulders, the back yoke is worked flat and decreases are made to shape the bottom. The front shoulders are worked separately then joined with cast on stitches. The front is worked flat and decreases are made to shape the bottom. At the same time a chart is followed. The neck is picked up and worked bottom up in a 1X1 rib, the edges are finished with an Icord.
