Needles: Circular Knitting Needles, 40 cm (16 inches) No. 2 ½ (US size 1½) and No. 3 (US size 2) and Double Pointed Needles No. 3 (US size 2).

Yarn: 2-ply wool yarn, such as Alice Starmore Hebridean, Teksrena, Kampes, Ice Yarn Pure Alpaca or any yarn you prefer that match the gauge.

The Pink-Wine Colored Tam: Basic color: 50g black-grey, 10g gray and 10g white, 15g of 4 pink-burgundy shades.

The Green-Blue Colored Tam: Basic color: 50g black-grey, 10g of each of at least 4 shades of green and 10g each of 4 shades of blue.
