Ida Wrist Cuffs
Description:
Wrist cuffs in stranded knitting, combined with slip stitches. The crocheted edge could be skipped (an alternative is described). The cuffs are fitting quite tight. Make them wider if you prefer this. Adjust your needle size if necessary.

Original yarn:
Ida (Trysil Garn, purchased in Norway) 50 grams/1.76 ounces) = 164 yards/150 meters; 80% Wool, 20% Manufactured Fibers - Nylon/ Polyamide:
• Main Color (MC): Color 359 orange, 1 skein. Used 15-25 g
• Contrast Color (CC): Color 327 dark grey, 1 skein. Used 15-25 g
Alternative yarns:
• Gjestal: Silja Sock (50 grams/1.76 ounces; 164 yards/150 meters; 80% Wool,20% Manufactured Fibers - Nylon / Polyamide) = same yarn as Ida, but other name.
If using other yarns, check the yardage of your yarn to find out if you need more than noted in the materials. You could use thinner sock yarn too. Check your gauge and adjust the stitch count with a multiple of 6 stitches, to obtain the right size.
Other:
Circular needles (or DPNs if you prefer this): 2.5 mm/ US 1 ½).
Crochet hook 2.5 mm (B)
Gauge with needle 2.5 mm/ US 1 ½ (not washed or blocked):
Measured in chart B pattern: 32 sts and 36 rnds = 10 cm/ 4 Inch. Check your gauge to obtain the right size!
Sizes: Extra small, (Small), Medium. The size is easy to adjust: just add or subtract a multiple of 6 sts. Try the cuff on your hand during the knitting to test if the size fits your wrist!
