This pattern is inspired by Outlander season 7 Episode 12.
William’s identity is challenged by the knowledge of who actually is his father; he is still the same person, but he is changed. His personal history has been twisted by this knowledge and he needs to find himself again. This Tunisian crochet kerchief shawl is one piece of finished fabric with a woven look on one side and stripes on the other, brought together with a twist to illustrate this concept of still being the same person, but forever changed. The shawl can be worn to the front or back and is made with straight Tunisian crochet with the edging created with Tunisian crochet in the round. Made in Berroco Lanas Light 100% wool sport weight yarn (100g/383yds/348m), this is a simple Tunisian pattern that can give you a dramatic and versatile look.
