’Ielfe’ is a triangular knitted lace shawl, based around a single ‘pine cone’ stitch pattern for the main body, with an elegantly simple border and moss stitch edging along the top.

The pattern isn’t significantly challenging, is very rhythmic and easy to
memorise, and would be suitable for lace knitters of all skill levels.

The shawl starts with a variation on the garter tab (a moss stitch tab with a single purl stitch gutter), but that’s probably the most complicated thing about it!
