Skill-level: Adventurous beginner or Intermediate; the main shawl body requires reading your knitting, but nothing too much. The border includes basic lace stitches with rest rows.
Materials: minimum 400 yards (360m) of main color and 200 yards (180m) of contrast color in a fingering weight yarn. More is better. The gold and blue/purple shawl is a large size and used one full skein of Freia Lace in the color Blue Velvet and one full skein of Abstract Super Sock in the color Saffron. The green shawl is a size small and used one full skein of Knit Circus Greatest of Ease in the color “Lemmen Impressionist” and one full skein of Handmaiden Casbah in the color “Spring.”
Needles: US5 (3.75mm) circular needle with a long (36 inch/ 90cm ish) wire.
Tools: Tapestry needle and scissors

Sizing: Small (large) shawl measures approximately 6(9) feet or 182(275cm) in wingspan and 1.75(3) feet or 55(100)cm in depth.
